A particular view of temporal patterning in behavior is presented with special focus on interactions. A mathematical pattern type called a T-pattern and some derived types are defined. Special algorithms and software (Theme) based on this probabilistic and fuzzy pattern type with some similarities to Fractals is used to describe and detect causal and non-causal contingencies and translation symmetry often hidden to the naked eye and to standard detection methods. Examples of patterns detected in neuronal, animal and human behavior are presented.
