Abstract
No good deed goes unpunished: the World Trade Organization’s timely response to accommodate the new powers â Brazil, China, and India â at the heart of its decision-making has created unanticipated new problems for the organization. Given these experiences, what insights can be learnt about the rise of new powers within the WTO and also in other multilateral organizations?
