Abstract
We forecast the constraint on the power spectrum of primordial scalar metric fluctuations with a Euclid-like future large-volume galaxy survey and Planck CMB observations. While a large-volume galaxy survey can only marginally improve the constraint on the spectral index $n_s$ and its running $\alpha_s$, we argue that, for inflation models that predict sharp features in the scalar power spectrum, the galaxy survey can be an crucial experiment to measure these features.
