Abstract
Hamish Mykura, former Head of Documentaries at Channel 4 and now Head of Global Developments at National Geographic Channels International, will give a talk entitled “Everybody’s A Fly On The Wall Now: new technology and editorial control in Documentary, History and News programmes”. For the last decade, Hamish has been one of the country’s most influential decision-makers in TV programming, and many of the programmes he has commissioned have caused national controversies.
This event is part of the seminar series organised by the Public and Popular History seminar.
