Abstract
Professor Paul Rogers examines the major future security challenges arising from a global system that is deeply divided along socio-economic lines and facing formidable environmental constraints, especially climate change. Will short-term political systems be able to meet these challenges, and if not, what are our prospects for a sustainable and emancipated world?
