Abstract
Professor Sharon Andrew is an award winning teacher, a scholar and a researcher with an international profile for her work in mixed methods nursing and health research. Sharon has over 50 scholarly publications including journal articles, book chapters and a book. She co-edited the textbook Mixed Methods Research in Nursing and the Health Sciences (Andrew & Halcomb 2009) published by Wiley-Blackwell. Sharon was a guest editor for the special issue Mixed Methods in the Health Sciences for the International Journal of Multiple Research Approaches (2011). Sharon has particular interest in data integration in mixed methods research. Her presentation will focus on innovative ways of combining qualitative and quantitative data to best present a complete story for mixed methods research studies.
