Abstract
Ever since Charles Darwin formulated his theory of evolution, scholars from various disciplines (including Darwin himself) have suggested that the same evolutionary principles can also explain the immense diversity and complexity seen in human culture. This talk will examine the history and validity of this idea. —- The talk is free for members, 2Β£ for non-members. Followed by a wine reception.
