Abstract
Cambridge Carbon Footprint presents the award-winning film PlanEAT. It is about the search for the ultimate diet that not only improves health but also benefits the environment and the planet. With film cast of pioneering chefs and some of the best cooking you will have ever seen, along with facts from scientists and doctors they present a convincing case of why it is so important for the west to re-examine its love affair with meats and dairy.
PlanEAT shows how so many of the problems we face today can be solved, without simply resorting to a diet of lentils and lettuce leaves. To prove it, we’ll be serving a delicious plant-based dinner, courtesy of Arjuna Wholefood, and provide you with recipes for you to take home.
This event will take place at Ross Street Community Centre. We are selling tickets on a sliding scale of £10, £20 or £30 pounds pay what you can towards our fundraising, your generosity is appreciated.
