Abstract
Cambridge Carbon Footprints presents its second Swishing of the year. The event will take place between 1:00pm and 3:00pm. Swishing, for those that don’t know, is a clothes swap with style. Participants bring a few items of good quality, clean clothing, and get to take home a few items of their choosing from others (it doesn’t have to be a direct exchange). From 1:00 – 1:30pm our volunteers will be sorting the clothes and you can have a chance to get a cup of tea and some cake from our cafe. Despite the trend of only women taking part at swishing, we do welcome men’s, kids and baby clothes too!
We appreciate donations, and are recommending that £2 per new item you take home with you. You are welcome to take back any of your personal un-swished items, but anything left at the end of the day will be donated to the local charity shops. The September Swishing has room for about 30 participants.
You can book your place ahead by emailing info@cambridgecarbonfootprint.org, but you can also just turn up on the day. For more information on the event please follow http://cambridgecarbonfootprint.org/blog/september-swishing/, or type Cambridge Carbon Footprint into your search engine.
