Abstract
A friendly discussion about the issued related to financing of climate related projects hosted by Prof David MacKay and Dr Aled Jones. Dr Jones is Director of the Global Sustainability Institute (GSI) at Anglia Ruskin University.
The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) process has agreed to mobilise $100bn a year in international investment for climate change by 2020. A large portion (85% or so) is due to come from the private sector. What are the barriers to investment at scale â what are the opportunities for investment and what are the challenges that investors face when engaging with this issue?
