Abstract
What are the dreams and nightmares of the future? How does society deal with these issues through the arts? We will be exploring these questions through film dramatization, a panel discussion, chaired by the Master of Churchill College, Sir David Wallace FRS , and a display in the Wolfson Foyer of related material from the Churchill Archives Centre, including a screening of a short film by John Kinsella reading a poem written especially for the occasion.
There will also be a screening of βThe Strangest Dreamβ, a film about Nobel Peace Prize-winning physicist, Sir Joseph Rotblat, following the panel discussion.
Series This talk is part of the Churchill College series.
