Overview of Speech Technology Research at CUED

Abstract
The three main areas of research undertaken by the speech group at CUED are automatic speech recognition, machine translation, and statistical dialogue systems. This seminar will give an overview of these three areas and the current research topics that are of interest to the group. The speakers are all currently working in the CUED speech group:
- Automatic Speech Recognition: Andrew Liu
- Machine Translation: Rory Waite and Juan Pino
- Dialogue Systems: Blaise Thomson
