Abstract
Jay Abbot is giving CyberSoc’s inaugral talk, discussing common attack vectors that he has encountered and demonstrations of how worryingly simple hacking really can be.
Jay is a highly regarded industry veteran, celebrated speaker, and cyber security expert. He has worked in companies such as Electronic Arts and Price Waterhouse Cooper, where he was a partner one of the OneSecurity Leadership team for PwC UK. He has recently branched off as an independent security specialist.
Recently he has been helping to encourage more talent into the Cyber Security industry through his involvement in the Cyber Security Challenge UK, for which he is a board member.
