Boundary layers and free surfaces in fluid mechanics
- 👤 Speaker: Frédéric Rousset, Université Rennes 1
- 📅 Date & Time: Monday 29 April 2013, 15:00 - 16:00
- 📍 Venue: CMS, MR13
Abstract
We will review some aspects of the analysis of the inviscid limit for fluids in the presence of boundaries and describe the main issues of boundary layer theory. Next, we will present recent results obtained with N. Masmoudi about the inviscid limit for free-surface fluids.
