Professor Maxwell will provide an insight into the role of angiogenesis in various kidney pathologies, and illustrate how many years of bench work have contributed greatly to our understanding. An intriguing story of molecular medicine and how, when ground is broken, it can break beneath all fields of clinical medicine. An opportunity not to be missed! All welcome. Refreshments provided.
