Abstract
This is a chance to hear one of the world’s leading scholars of early medieval religion in its relation to women’s bodies and health talk about a still unresolved issue to do with the church’s attitude to abortion. It is the keynote address for the meeting on Generation and Reproduction in Medieval Europe to be held at King’s College on Saturday.
