Abstract
A friendly discussion about how research can encourage improvement in industrial energy efficiency hosted by Prof David MacKay and Niall Mackenzie. Niall is Head of Industrial Energy Efficiency at Department of Energy and Climate Change, and has over 25 years experience as a civil servant in various government departments, with a common thread of drawing on academic research wherever possible to support the development of public policy.
