Abstract
Yet more glad tidings to start the New Year: the Screen Media seminar series will be picking up where it left off last term with a session with the camera operator, Ray Andrew.
Ray’s work ranges from TV commercials and series to an eclectic array of feature films that includes 101 Dalmatians, Judge Dredd, Ghandi and The Princess Bride. He also worked with Stanley Kubrick on The Shining (1980) and was responsible for operating the camera in the film’s infamous Steadicam sequences.
With more than 50 years of experience under his belt, Ray will be talking about his work, after which the floor with be opened up for a Q&A.
The session will take place at 5 for 5.15pm. As always, attendance is free of charge (no registration required) and everyone is very welcome to join us.
