Abstract
The Screen Media Group, in collaboration with the Alliance française, invites you to join us for an evening of Francophilia with a feminist bent: a joint screening of:
Réponse de Femmes: Notre corps, notre sexe, Agnès Varda’s 1975 cinétract celebrating the power and indivisibility of the female body
and
Quand les femmes s’en mêlent, a 2003 documentary by Paule Zajdermann presented through the eyes of women who, aged 25 in 1950, witnessed the various major stages of the move towards emancipation in France.
Both films will be shown with English subtitles. The session will take place at 5 for 5.15. As always, all are welcome, no registration required. Followed by a liberating Q&A.
