Abstract
Tim Sparks, one of the editors of the newly annotated transcript of Fauna Cantabrigiensis, will talk about this previously unpublished work of the Rev Leonard Jenyns who compiled it in the mid-19th century. The manuscript provides details of the wildlife (vertebrates and molluscs) in Cambridgeshire revealing considerable changes in the intervening years, sadly mostly declines or extinctions.
Note: not our usual meeting room, but up on the first floor, fairly close.
