Abstract
Cambridge University Expeditions Society and Geography Society have teamed up to bring you an exciting co-hosted speaker event!
Spike was a winner of the first Land Rover Go Beyond Bursary and spent 7 months circumnavigating the globe along the line of 50° North, carrying out a series of case studies into the human impact of climate change.
He has also worked at the Royal Geographical Society for several years, coordinating the huge range of events on their premises. An expedition enthusiast, he will also be discussing his role in helping Sir Ranulph Fiennes’ latest expedition to Antarctica – the Coldest Journey.
Should be a fascinating talk for anyone interested in travel, climate change, expeditions or Antarctica.
All welcome! Free entry for members of either society, ÂŖ2 entry to non-members
