Abstract
Beyond Profit and the Education Society are collaborating to offer the chance for you to hear from and quiz two recently graduated and highly successful social entrepreneurs. Catriona Maclay, a Cambridge and Teach First graduate, is the founder of Hackney Pirates, an innovative education project developing literacy and creativity in young people in Hackney, which has been a huge success story. Henry Morris, an Exeter graduate, is the founder of upReach, which seeks to improve access to professions for undergraduates from less privileged backgrounds â having just launched their pilot scheme, upReach has recently had heavy media coverage. Come along to hear these social entrepreneur graduates and the steps they took from idea to success. There will be a Q& A session with the audience afterwards and informal drinks and nibbles.
