Abstract
In this talk I present a general method to obtain the fully renormalized stress tensor two-point function in a general Hadamard state in Minkowski spacetime. The method is exemplified by the case of a massive, minimally coupled scalar in the standard vacuum state. I also discuss its generalization to curved background spacetimes.
