Abstract
I will talk about what I learned at a recent “Need to know …” seminar at the Cambridge Arts Theatre, one of a series of seminars organised by the Film Digital Media Exchange (FDMX).
The seminar was given by Craig Penn, an animator from Framestore-CFC, one of the worlds leading companies for commercial and film visual effects. Entitled Demystifying 3D Animation Craig ran through how some of his high profile work was created and how the 3D Animation industry works in general. You probably havent heard of Craig, but you will have seen his work in the Harry Potter films, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Tomb Raider, Gladiator and Babe.
Series This talk is part of the Rainbow Graphics Seminars series.
