The use of survey weights in regression modelling

Abstract
This talk will introduce the use of survey weights to adjust for selection and refer to historical debates about their use for regression analysis of survey data. Some new approaches to modifying weights to improve estimation efficiency will be described. An application to an analysis of cross-national survey data will be given.
