Hearing research in Cambridge: the present and future

The aim of this meeting is to bring together the groups undertaking hearing research in Cambridge so that we can update each other about our current and future research programmes and discuss how we should present ourselves to the outside world in the future.
People should leave the meeting knowing the interests and expertise of the different research groups in Cambridge, so that they understand where there might be opportunities for collaboration. We will also discuss how to strengthen connections and visibility of hearing research in Cambridge.

16.30 Roy Patterson: Collaboration in Cambridge and around the world: speech streaming, pitch imaging and compressive distortion
17.00 Brian Moore: Auditory perception
17.30 wrap-up
The talks will be about 20 min leaving 5+min for discussion. They will present a broad outline the research the lab is currently undertaking and the five year plan for future work, possibly flagging discussion points along the way.

Costs are yet to be finalised, but it is likely that there will be a small charge to cover the costs of lunch and coffee that will be collected on the day.

Note that the entrance to the Divinity School is along All Saints passage and not at the front of the building.
