Abstract
First part: Systematic Literature Reviews (30mins)
Second part: Academic literature and reviews – ways to cheat the system (30mins)
The first part will introduce the Systematic Literature Review method, stages of the review, and some general advice about conducting these types of review.
The second part is aimed at early career researchers (e.g. 1st year PhD students) and will cover the types of academic literature, techniques for searching it, and useful software tools. This second part will be hands-on and those joining can bring a computer to try out some of the “cheating” techniques.
