Abstract
Seven Stories is the National Centre for Children’s Books and has an extensive collection of material relating to British Children’s Literature, from the 1930s to the present day.
This talk will look at how the Seven Stories collection can show the creative process of illustrators, following their journey from first ideas through to beautiful finished artwork. The talk will focus on a selection of key items from the collection, which will be on hand to view up close.
