Abstract
An insight into the technology behind the worldās best selling Electric Vehicle & its role on the road to zero emission mobility.
The Nissan LEAF , which has a top speed of ninety miles per hour and a range of around one hundred miles per charge, is the result of a global collaboration between Nissanās Technical Centres in Japan, the USA and Europe.
Now produced at Nissanās Sunderland manufacturing plant here in the UK, in 2011 it won the prestigious World Car of the Year Award, selected by a jury of 48 international automotive journalists from 22 countries.
Steve Groves is Vehicle Evaluation Manager at Nissan, responsible for the development of Nissanās B Platform vehicles produced in Europe including the Nissan LEAF , the worldās best selling electric car.
