Abstract
Samir Doshi, a Research Associate at Cambridge University’s Centre for Industrial Sustainability (http://www.ifm.eng.cam.ac.uk/people/skd37/), is going to share his recent research and thinking about industrial development and its contributions to international development.
Most recently, Dr. Doshi was a Fulbright-Nehru Senior Scholar and Fellow at Jawaharlal Nehru University’s Institute for Advanced Study in New Delhi and investigated sustainable development platforms in India. His work connects the fields of development economics, systems ecology, engineering, design and governance to develop more sustainable and resilient societies. He is a former fellow of the Santa Fe Institute, National Audubon TogetherGreen, Environmental Leadership Program and was an advisor to the UN Rio+20 Sustainable Development Conference’s Future We Want campaign.
