The Imperial War Museum in London draws on the richest and most comprehensive collection of First World War-related objects anywhere in the world. In order to prepare the centenary exhibition on WW1 , the London branch has closed its doors to the public, and will only reopen in July 2014. James Taylor, the curator of the New First World War Galleries, will join us to discuss the ideas behind the new presentation. He will be accompanied by Dr Dan Todman (Queen Mary, London), one of the historical advisors of the project, and prize-winning author of The Great War: Myth & Memory (2005).
