Abstract
In this light hearted and (hopefully) entertaining seminar, we discuss with examples the some of difficulties encountered in applied systems/networking research. We develop this via a motivating example, figure 12b from one of our recent submissions, highlighting the lessons learned and engineering efforts required to generate it.
