Abstract
Winton teatime discussion on deployment of Electric Buses. Hosted by Prof David MacKay and John Miles, who is Professor in Transitional Energy Strategies, Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge. Prior to this role John was Director of Arup, where he was responsible for Arupβs worldwide activities in the Energy, Resources and Industry Markets.
John has recently been involved with a project being piloted in Milton Keynes for wirelessly charged electric buses – see link for BBC news item http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-25621426
