Prospects for Primary Prevention: obesity prevention interventions across pregnancy and early life

Abstract
In this presentation Associate Professor Campbell will outline research undertaken within Deakin University’s Centre for Physical Activity and Nutrition Research (C-PAN) on the prevention of overweight and obesity in pregnancy and early childhood. These studies include the Infant Feeding Activity and Nutrition Trial (InFANT), and offspring studies currently underway: Growing Healthy, Text4Two, MumsOnLine, and the InFANT Extend Program. She will also outline the translation of the InFANT Program within the public health framework in her own state of Victoria, Australia.
