Abstract
In this talk I will present a detailed analysis of the Hyperbolic Branch/Focus Point (HB/FP) area of the Constrained Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with μ > 0 supplemented by an “asymptotic” Yukawa coupling quasi-unification condition. Imposing important constraints from the cold dark matter abundance in the universe, dark matter detection, B physics, and the mass of the lightest neutral CP-even Higgs boson, I find that the lightest neutralino can act as a cold dark matter candidate. At the same time, data from direct detection experiments play a crucial in restraining the parametric space of the model. Moreover, I will present a comparison between the neutralino-stau coannihilation area and HB/FP area regarding the predicted values of μ and the mass of the lightest neutralino.
