Abstract
New for 2014/15 is this series of free events taking a broad perspective on issues surrounding bioscience and health that are relevant to policy.
Led by health policy think-tank the PHG Foundation in partnership with Cambridge University Health Partners and Hughes Hall, The Life Sciences & Society Seminars will combine expert insight with lively discussion on topics ranging across science, medicine and the humanities.
Meetings are open to all and will be of particular value to academic, commercial and clinical researchers and practitioners who are interested in how research in life sciences is adopted in practice for the health and wealth of the nation.
All events are free to attend but advance booking is essential.
The first in the series -’Using data in healthcare: policy and practice” – will examine topics such as service innovation through data sharing and the benefits, myths and issues of big data in health, with case studies from research and practice.
