Abstract
The speakers will talk about the opportunities for and challenges of using smartphones for social science research. They will describe an app that collects self-reported mood and compares it with data collected from the phoneβs sensors, an app developed to help people quit smoking, and an app that will allow researchers to collect their own sensor data.
There will be free pizza, beer and wine! This session is open to all staff and students in the university. Everyone is welcome!
