Abstract
This lecture is a modification of this yearβs Coal Science Lecture, given in September in London with the above title. Amongst other topics Dr Burdett will be discussing the change from burning coal to biomass at Drax, originally the largest coal-burning power station in the U.K. He is currently in charge of environmental affairs at Drax in Yorkshire.
