Abstract
Genestack is a step in operating systems evolution: OS designed for bioinformatics. We eliminated routine tasks like format conversions and data cleansing. Instead of physical files we introduce rich biological data objects that carry provenance records of tool versions and parameters. You can replay, share or publish provenances as data flows. Genestack is free to use, with unlimited compute and storage!
