Abstract
A brief overview of the analysis techniques and applications of the following instruments will be given:
1) Vista ICP -OES – rapid element concentration analysis of samples in an acid matrix
2) Quadrupole ICP -MS – high precision element concentration analysis of samples in an acid matrix and by laser ablation.
3) Element ICP -MS – high precision element concentration analysis of samples in an acid matrix and by laser ablation, including Fe.
4) Neptune and Nu MC-ICP-MS – high precision isotope analysis of samples in an acid matrix
5) TIMS and Triton T-MS – high precision isotope analysis of samples in oxide form
6) Dionex – element concentration analysis including anions
