Abstract
Trinity Hall History Society is proud to present, in conjunction with the Trinity Hall Law Society, the first event of Lent Term, a talk by Professor Sir John Baker entitled ‘The Mystery of Magna Carta’. The talk shall take place THIS Thursday (22/01/2014) at 6 pm in the lecture theatre. Downing Professor Emeritus of the Laws of England here at Cambridge, Professor Baker is a world leading expert on English Legal History. This talk should provide an opportunity to gain important insight into one of the crucial documents of English History. Though undoubtedly of benefit to those doing relevant papers in Tripos, we would urge those with a general interest to attend what promises to be a fascinating event.
As with all events, refreshments will be provided.
