Gianna Bouchard is a Principal Lecturer in Drama at Anglia Ruskin University. Her research focuses on the medicalised body in contemporary performance, exploring the interface between medical practice and discourse and performance practice. She will talk about anatomical dissection through a performance studies approach, looking at Renaissance imagery of dissection and thinking about how similar ideas might be mapped onto contemporary performance.
