Abstract
A brief overview of the analysis techniques and applications of the following instruments will be given:
1) Gas sourced mass spectrometers for measuring oxygen, carbon and hydrogen isotopes in carbonate, organics, water and air samples
2) X-ray fluorescence analysis of samples
3) Grain size analysis instruments for characterising sediments
4) Analysis of sulphur isotopes by mass spectrometry
