Abstract
In the 2015 Year of Light, this lecture celebrates the great experiments which led to our understanding of the nature of light and colour. Join Professor Malcolm Longair as he repeats many of these great experiments and explains the theory behind them. The lecture will include numerous simulations and animations and delivered at a level suitable for everyone.
