Abstract
Dr Cervenka is a clinical psychiatrist and molecular imaging researcher visiting from Karolinska Institute, Sweden. In his talk, he will cover PET studies of the dopamine system in schizophrenia, including recent work on extrastriatal markers. Molecular imaging studies targeting immune function in both psychosis patients and animal models will also be described, as well as work aiming to identify neurochemical correlates of delusional ideation in high-risk individuals.
