Abstract
Precision measurements of the Higgs boson properties at the LHC provide constraints on the MSSM Higgs sector, and seem to suggest that any additional Higgs bosons should be heavy, with masses larger than about 400 GeV. However, such a conclusion may not be warranted in MSSM parameter regimes of ``alignment without decoupling’’, where the lightest CP-even Higgs boson has Standard Model (SM)-like couplings to fermions and gauge bosons, independently of the masses of the additional Higgs scalars. The combination of current experimental bounds from searches for additional Higgs states together with the precision Higgs data are complementary, and may soon be able to probe the region of CP-odd Higgs boson masses below the top quark pair mass threshold of 350 GeV and low to moderate values of tan(beta).
