Getting the most out of CryoMeas (SP Workshop)
- đ¤ Speaker: Prof Chris Ford, University of Cambridge, Semiconductor Physics Group
- đ Date & Time: Wednesday 21 October 2015, 14:15 - 15:15
- đ Venue: Mott Seminar Room (Mott Building Room 531), Cavendish Laboratory
Abstract
‘CryoMeas’ is a sophisticated data-acquisition program that runs within LabView. It is used by many current and former members of SP. It allows the control of instruments while measuring a wide variety of inputs. Importantly, it tries to make it easy to view your data in detail while it is being taken, in order to spot interesting new effects or problems such as noise.
In this workshop, some ways of using CryoMeas most effectively will be described, and recently introduced features will be explained. Use of a versatile Matlab script to plot sets of data will also be presented.
While the talk will be aimed at people with some experience already, prospective users should find it of use too.
Series This talk is part of the Semiconductor Physics Group Seminars series.
