Abstract
In this talk, a range of bridge design challenges will be discussed in the context of a variety of projects that the speaker has been involved in over the last two years. The main focus of the talk will be a detailed discussion of his ongoing role supervising “Geometry Control” during construction of the Mersey Gateway Bridge; a £600 million project which will soon provide a major new route into Liverpool.
