From photosynthesis to climate change, it is evident that life on earth has an impact on its environment. The controversial Gaia hypothesis proposes that life ends up influencing the environment for conditions to be suitable for its own survival. Tim Lenton is Professor of Climate Change and Earth System Science at the University of Exeter and studies how life and the earth have coevolved over time. See you this Wednesday, 7.30pm in the Plant Sciences Lecture theatre to get thinking in a different way about life on Earth: past, present and future.
