Introduction to the author’s research and a discussion on what a nutraceutical actually is and how they are most commonly used within companion animal welfare. Discussion of Phase 1 of work: test battery chosen for testing anxiolytic impacts of herbal nutraceuticals in rodents, unexpected outcomes, testing for anxiety vs. sedation. Discussion of Phase 1 results so far and the direction of future research.
